Pilates is a body-conditioning method developed by Joseph H. The main focus of Pilates is to strengthen the “powerhouse,” the area of the body located below the collarbones and above the hip line. Pilates also flattens the stomach, slims the waistline, tones the buttocks, and treats a compromised and painful lower back. lessons that help clients deepen their body awareness and Pilates practice. Balance Pilates offers private training on the Reformer, Tower, Chair and Mat. At this time we do not offer group classes. Our lessons are client-centered, addressing each client’s needs in order to work on effectively correcting any imbalances and improving function in the body...as Joseph Pilates intended.
Our lessons are completely private – clients do not share the space with busy classes or other instructors and their clients. Our clients experience true one-to-one Pilates instruction with no interruptions or distractions.
